К сожалению, нам не предоставилась возможность оценить сами занятия в этой школе. Мы с ребенком отсеялись еще на этапе тестирования. Сегодня, 28.08.2019 пришли на тест для определения уровня владения языком. Проверка работы сына осуществлялась в моем присутствии. Задание: There are 5 ___ in aquarium [fishes, fish, fishs]. Молодой человек, который пророверял работу, зачеркнул ответ моего сына — FISH. Я уточнила, является ли этот молодой человек преподавателем (если он администратор школы, то спор ить по предмету было бы бессмысленно). И получила ответ, что передо мной не просто преподаватель, а преподаватель с уровнем С2. — Тогда почему зачеркнули FISH, ведь это слово как минимум имеет право быть во множественном числе в той же форме, что и в единственном. Да и не просто имеет право, а это и есть основной вариант его использования. Свои слова я подкрепила синхронным поиском в гугле: Ед.ч fish, мн.ч. fish. Мне возмущенно пояснили, что этот Кэмбриджский тест за 16 лет уже обкатан на учениках, и если говорят, что правильно fishes, значит, правильно именно так, и за один день ничего не изменится. Вот так. Скорей всего, этот молодой мужчина с уровнем C2 и не был бы преподавателем группы моего ребенка — не его уровень, самомнение — только носителей языка обучать их же языку. Но если я, взрослый человек, вооружившийся гуглом, не смогла пробить бетонную стену и заставить обратить внимние на спорный вопрос (мягко говоря), то мой ребенок на уроке и подавно не сможет, а мне хотелось бы, чтоб у него помимо А2, было еще и право голоса. – показать

Здравствуйте, Екатерина! Мы понимаем Вас и признаем свою ошибку. Тесты давно исправили. Вашему ребенку выдали старый тест. Сотрудник ошибся. Так иногда бывает. Мы приносим Вам извинения и надеемся, что Ваш ребенок все-таки станет у нас учиться.
