Интересная экскурсия в дом купцов Рахмановых проходит совершенно бесплатно от Российского исторического общества. Судьба усадьбы достаточно сложная. Наследников дома нет. После революции это прекрасное родовое гнездо превратили в коммунальные квартиры, переделав большие залы в маленькие комнатки. В 1980 году этот дом и его интерьеры были тщательно отреставрированы. Объемно-планировочное решение залов в целом не изменилось. Удалось сохранить массивную печь и уникальную чугуннную лестницу. Усадьба является объектом культурного наследия федерального значения. С 2013 года в здании располагается Российское историческое общество.
