Замечательный древний храм. Очень уютный. Именно в этом храме размещается чудотворная, мироточащая икона царственных мучеников. Икона начала мироточить еще до канонизации святых мучеников. Мы в то время работали поблизости - в Иверском храме, и часто приходили в храм Николы в Пыжах, чтобы приложиться к чудотворной иконе. Хочется еще отметить настоятеля отца Александра. Этот батюшка не побоялся выступить против засилия непристойной рекламы на щитах, расположенных по дороге к храму. На него даже подали в суд, но батюшки близлежащий храмов сказали, что сами сядут рядом с отцом Александром на скамью подсудимых.

Этот храм строил мой предок. Потому и особенно душевно приходить сюда. Светлее на душе, спокойнее, яснее осознаю себя после простого посещения. Служащие делекатны, открыты и светлы. Люблю этот храм всей душой!

Храм, одно из древнейших сооружений Замоскворечья, построен на средства стрельцов полковника Богдана Климентьевича Пыжова ( отсюда и название «в Пыжах») в XVII веке.
