Театр необычный, спектакли для детей по традиционным народным праздникам Рождество, Масленица, Пасха. Дети принимают активное участие в спектакле, знакомятся с традициями русского народа, песнями, танцами, играми. В театре проводятся спектакли не только для детей, эти спектакли могут быть интересны и взрослым. Иностранцы частые гости в театре.

Театр Этно – театр-музей. Когда открываешь двери в подвальное, внешне ничего не обещающее помещение на Моховой, сразу попадаешь в русскую избу с печкой, лавками, со всякой домашней утварью, которую можно увидеть только в музеях. Начинается спектакль, и ты попадаешь в удивительный мир русского фольклора. Девушки с прекрасными голосами под гармошку и балалайку исполняют песни, частушки, прибаутки. Зрители принимают участие в старинных русских играх, с которыми знакомят их артисты. Веселье и смех на протяжении всего спектакля царят в зрительном зале. Спектакли в этом театре связаны с празднованием всенародных праздников Рождество, Пасха, Масленица. Все спектакли интересны как детям, так и взрослым.
