На самом деле, дворец построен в середине 19 века в псевдорусском стиле. С этим местом связана очень интересная история: в начале 19 века Юсуповым принадлежала огромная территория вокруг дворца, а напротив через дорогу, где сейчас стоит дом ( тоже имеющий интересную историю), был огромный сад. Князь Юсупов любил пожить красиво и выписал из Германии чудесные механические игрушки: волшебный фонтан, когда он работал по вечерам, можно было видеть, как из воды поднимаются рыцари морского царя в латах и с оружием. Но самое чудесное - это был механический кот, который двигался вокруг дерева по специальной площадке!!! И самое чудесное, что в те далёкие времена одна не очень богатая дворянская семья снимала неподалёку дом. Добрые хозяева разрешали любознательнрму и смышленому мальчику гулять по парку, а он впитывал всё, что видел вокруг и однажды свет ахнул, прочитав: "У Лукоморья дуб зелёный, златая цепь на дубе том. И днем , и ночью кот учёный Всё ходит по цепи кругом." Вы поняли, конечно, кто был тот маленький мальчик. И еще много легенд связано с дворцом. К сожалению, сейчас он закрыт, попасть туда невозможно, т.к. дело связано с бывшими арендаторами и большими деньгами. Дворец разрушается, территория вокруг неухоженная. Но есть надежда, что власти Москвы решат данный вопрос. Все это я узнала на экскурсии на сайте "Гуляем по Москве". Всем советую, замечательные экскурсоводы работают там.
