Отличное место для отдыха в Санкт-Петербурге. Я был там в день моей свадьбы. Они любезно проводят для нас ранний заезд и приносят в подарок бутылку красного вина. Хороший. Great place to stay in Saint Petersburg. I was there in my wedding day. They kindly do early check-in for us and bring a bottle of red wine as a present. Nice.

Price vs. Value isn't there. Hotel is overpriced and is overrated Price vs. Value just doesn’t add up. Hotel is overpriced and is under serviced The location is fantastic. Just cross from St. Isaac’s and several restaurants and away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. But that is where the positives end. The hotel is overpriced for what you get. From the very beginning when I checked in there were problems. The staff was not overly friendly and the bellman was a bit pushy. Once in the room, looks good, clean, no problem there, but lack of towels, lack of any amenities at all, there even was not one bar of soap to wash your hands. I was shocked. They give you nothing! The room is small. And the walls are paper thin. My room was very far from the elevator also, so it was a bit quieter as also not on the street side. Breakfast was mediocre and also way over priced for what you get. I suggest not buying the breakfast at the hotel, but to go out. The only problem with going out is that many places are packed during the morning. Quite a huge disappointment overall. From a five star hotel I expect much better service and at least the basic amenities in the room. I would not stay here again. There are other properties in the area that are a similar distance, but lower star, only staying in them will see if they are better or not. Consider your options carefully. The hotel has a great reputation online, but having stayed at many five star hotels, this one just does not cut it.

Yes!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Anglettere! I was very fortunate to be a part of a Globus tour of St. Petersburg and Moscow. My friend and I flew in one day earlier than the start of the tour and were greeted by the kind and helpful staff. Fedor was as joy to talk with...... always a smile .... and I looked forward to seeing Karina each morning at breakfast! Yes!!!! I highly recommend the Anglettere. Someday I hope to return! Oh and did I mention the wonderful view of St. Isaac’s Cathedral and the ease of exploring St. Petersburg from the Angelttere Hotel?😊You’ll love it! PS Best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted.. was within easy walking distance... turn left out of hotel... turn left at Astoria... walk on sidewalk until you see the Chinese restaurant with the bar decorated with fish scales... that’s it!!!!!... within two blocks! Be advised😁
